Vintage convergence

My husband showed me this Bazaar cover from February of his favorite Brodovitch designs, and I said Hey, I know that dress! It was labeled Harvey Berin designed by Karen Stark. I sold it some years ago. I am pleased that I had the same basic instinct in shooting this angle.

And while I'm at it, an alert reader found this Lilli Ann ad, matching a jacket I had in my web store...

60s weighty wool with glittering buttons and elaborate braid.

Light, soft, and warm pure cashmere, with typically great 1950s buttons.

4. Surprise lining

1950s Lilli Ann cream wool clutch coat with satin stripe lining.

5. Tie-waist corduroy

Early 40s insulated cotton cord coat, labeled Neusteter's - Denver.
