Frothy formal in unusual glittering pink and black lace with tiered tulle

Not the shy prom pastel frock, this 1950s formal is fabulously outgoing in magenta pink and black. The dress is layered with a black acetate inner layer, and crisp pink and black tulle lace and black tulle on the outside. The very full skirt is made even fuller by a black tulle center layer.

Strapless, the bodice has a tulle ruffle across the sweetheart-contoured top. The front waist dips down to a point in front. There is a long back covered metal zipper. The bodice has two inner front bones and two in back for structure. The skirt has gores of black tulle ruffles around its hem. The dress has no maker's label, just its size tag.

Size: Bust = 34" (14.5" across the back, 19.5" across the front); waist = 26.5"; hip = full; top of side to waist = 8"; waist to hem = 33"

Condition: Just a shade shy of perfectly excellent, with a handspan of mending on the front hem where the tulle had torn.
