An A-line coat and short shift in cheerful bright orange

I have an orange crush on this outfit! Dating from the mid to late 60s, the set has the Lilli Ann Knit label. The fabric is polyester knit with a horizontally ribbed texture. The coat and dress both are lined in taffeta. The coat is A-line in cut. It has a rounded collar and rounded slits at its cuffs and at the sides of the hem. There are two big plastic buttons up high, and the point of the second button there is a seam circling the coat. The coat has patch pockets with flaps.

A shift in cut, the short dress has decorative pocket flaps. There are center front and back seams and a horizontal seam that mirrors the coat’s, up high. These seams are all top stitched for emphasis. The dress has a long back nylon zipper.

Size: Coat: bust = 36.5", hip = 52", circumference at hem = 58", back of neck to hem = 38.5"; Dress: bust = 36", waist = 33", hip = 38", back of neck to hem = 37"

Condition: Very, very good. I've had the outfit dry cleaned and the only flaws are very slight fading in the lining under the arms of the dress and a handful of extremely faint small spots on one pocket flap of the dress.
